Thrown on the wheel by hand from a brown  ceramic stoneware this piece was fired to 1900 degrees Fahrenheit, hand painted with a matte white, glossy forest green, and glossy tan glaze, then finally fired one last time to over 2000 degrees Fahrenheit. This piece was inspired by the fish plates I originally made for a dear friend who loves the island it originates
